Farmers Jam 2017

Farmers Jam 2017

Farmers Jam is always a really fun event to go to every year Is always have a really good time when I go. The events this year consisted of boardercross, bigair and slopestyle. In slopestyle I came first in the big air, slopestyle and boardercross for the women’s open category as well as 3rd in the men’s overall category for boardercross. In big air i was throwing all the spins i could do both back and front as well as some front flips just for the crowd. In boardercross i did the same on the jump but tried mixing it up on the rails and boxes which were in a tight and challenging set up but still pulled through. After a intense set of races against all of the men I was in the top 3 ‘mens’ final! The race was difficult due to a weight and experience disadvantage but after reviewing the only video footage the judges gave me 3rd place. I cant wait for next...

Stubai 2017

Stubai 2017

For the first trip of my season I headed out to Stubai in Austria for a good 3 weeks of training. The first week consisted of a few bad weather days which meant powder which was fun. then the second and most of the third week were sunny bluebird par days. The park was amazing both medium and pro line jumps were running so well. I definitely got to where i wanted which was back where i was at the end of last season spinning some 360s off the pro line and some 520s and 720s off the mediums. The last few days were once again powder which the park definitely needed as the snow was barely holding up till midday until it came down. The camp was awesome like always andi cant wait to get out to LAAX for the rest of my season....

CSS 2017

CSS 2017

CSS 2016 was an awesome summer event to work on weekly when I wasn’t abroad it gave me a chance to compete without being at a competition the vibes are so much more relaxed and in my home slope which I don’t get a chance to compete in.  Each round you had to send in three tricks which had to consist of a rail, kicker and an ‘ex’ trick. Each week I was trying to throw down my best tricks and planning them the week leading up to it. In the end after a lot of stress from being abroad and trying to balance the 2 events I managed to pull through and won the overall most valuable overall female for the second year in a row loved working on this all summer and can’t wait for next year....

Headed up to Leeds with the GB team for some cross training across a variety of sports such as diving, gym work, gymnastics and skateboarding. Some round off back flips which I’ve always wanted to do on a fast track. It was a awesome weekend with all the GB guys hoping to use all of these in my regular training.g...
